U.P. SHE BUILDERS (AKA "U.P. SHE-BEE") is a non profit aimed at empowering women of all ages by building, designing and working together to give back to the community. If offers a safe place for girls and women to learn life-changing skills which are not readily taught elsewhere. 

COMMUNITY PROJECTS

By organizing volunteers and working together, we accomplish three our of our favorite things; to learn, build and give back! Have an idea for a community project? Click here.

WORKSHOPS

Women and girls learn topics such as power tool safety, basic carpentry and project design. Over time, we hope to offer skill-training in other trade-focused fields.

  • After school programs

  • Summer camps

  • Partnerships with local women's shelters

  • Room remodels for kids/families in need

  • Dedicated classroom space aka the "The She Shop"
